AI fashion production pilot brief and vendor checklist
A reusable checklist and editable pilot brief for commissioning AI fashion images: inputs, garment fidelity, review, corrections, rights, disclosure, delivery.

Use this checklist and brief to commission AI-generated fashion images from any vendor, including HUMBLEBOB. It puts the production questions first: who prepares the inputs, who checks the garments, who fixes failures, and what counts as accepted. Settle these before the pilot and every vendor can be judged on the same terms.
How to use it
- Download the editable Markdown version of this page and fill in the brief below.
- Send the same brief to each vendor you are considering.
- Run a pilot on a few dozen real products, including your hardest ones, and judge the results against the acceptance criteria you wrote down.
The checklist
- Inputs. Which references you will supply per product (front, back, details), their resolution, and whether colours have been checked against the physical sample. See product references.
- Scope. Categories, number of products, and images per product. Our shot list per category is a starting point.
- Models. New or existing model identities, how they are approved, and written consent terms if a model is based on a real person. See approved model identity.
- Garment fidelity. Which attributes are checked and what counts as a reject. See garment fidelity.
- Colour. The colour reference and the tolerance, for example a Delta E limit.
- Review. Who reviews what, in how many rounds, and how quickly you respond.
- Corrections. Who fixes failed images, and how many correction rounds are included.
- Brand consistency. The style guide the images follow, and sign-off on a first batch before volume.
- Delivery. Formats, sizes, colour space and file naming per channel.
- Acceptance. The pass or fail test, and whether the vendor reports its acceptance rate.
- Rights and data. The licence you receive, whether your images are used to train anything, and model likeness terms.
- Disclosure and provenance. Who labels AI images under the EU AI Act, which metadata the files carry, and each marketplace's rules.

Where HUMBLEBOB stands
| Checklist item | HUMBLEBOB |
|---|---|
| Inputs | Send the drop the way you have it: spreadsheets, PDFs, packshots, CAD, emails. We turn it into one checked product list and ask for anything missing |
| Models | Digital models, each approved by you before it is used |
| Garment fidelity and review | Each image passes a defect check, then people review each batch against your packshots and your rules before delivery. You review in one place and write notes in your own words, and we turn them into fixes |
| Brand consistency | Your look written down as rules and a shot list per category, approved by you before production starts |
| Delivery | Sizes and resolutions per channel, named to your convention, masters kept. On request, files come with a data file that lists the products in each image, ready for your PIM |
| Correction rounds, timeline, pricing | Agreed in the pilot |
| Disclosure responsibility and metadata | Agreed in the pilot, per channel, before production |
