HUMBLEBOB is a production partner for fashion imagery. We read your brand, sort your briefing, make the assets, deliver them ready for your channels and put what we learn into the next drop. From your packshots, or your CAD, sketches or early samples before the final samples exist, we make reviewed on-model images for product pages, lookbooks and campaigns.

We handle the set-up, generation, review against the product, corrections and delivery. Your team supplies the references and signs off on the rules, without operating the software or checking every generated image.

## Who it is for

- **Brands with packshots or CAD**: front and back packshots for each product, or the CAD or sketch when no sample exists yet, plus detail shots where trims or prints matter, that need on-model or campaign images for more products than they can shoot.
- **Teams without the hours to run AI production themselves.** Reviewing every generated image against its packshot is the part that takes the time. See [cost per accepted image](https://humblebob.com/definitions/cost-per-accepted-image).
- **Ranges that come back every season**, where approved models and written rules can be reused.

It is not the right fit for a handful of images, where a self-serve tool with your own review usually fits better, or for a campaign built around a real person's story, where a shoot is the better choice. Our [comparison of the options](https://humblebob.com/compare/ai-fashion-software-vs-production-partner) sets them side by side.

## What you send and what you get

| You provide | We do | You receive |
|---|---|---|
| Product references per item: front and back packshots, or the CAD or sketch when no sample exists yet, plus detail views | Check the references and ask for missing views before production | A list of anything that needs a new photo |
| Brand direction and examples of images you like | Cast your [digital models](https://humblebob.com/definitions/approved-model), write your look down as rules and agree the shot list | Digital models, rules and a shot list to approve |
| Notes on each batch, in your own words, in one place | Check each image for defects, then review each batch for [garment fidelity](https://humblebob.com/definitions/garment-fidelity), [character consistency](https://humblebob.com/definitions/character-consistency), anatomy, background and crop, and turn your notes into fixes | Only images that passed review |
| The channels you publish to | Make again what fails, without overwriting; prepare files per channel | Files cropped, sized and named per channel, masters kept, and on request a data file for your PIM |

## How a production runs

HUMBLEBOB works in five steps. Step 1 happens at the start, and steps 2 to 5 run for every drop. The long version is on [How we work](https://humblebob.com/approach).

*How a HUMBLEBOB production runs: the brand is written down at the start, then every drop goes from briefing to delivery. (Diagram: HUMBLEBOB)*
1. **Your brand.** We write your look down as rules (light, background, framing, poses and styling), cast your digital models and agree the shot list per category, based on your existing guidelines. You approve all of it before production starts. Our article on the [photography style guide](https://humblebob.com/journal/ecommerce-photography-style-guide) shows what goes into it.
2. **Your briefing.** Send the drop the way you have it: spreadsheets, PDFs, packshots, CAD, emails. We turn it into one checked product list and ask for anything missing.
3. **Production and feedback.** We make every image to your rules and shot list and check it against your packshots. You review in one place and write notes in your own words, and we turn them into fixes. Products that keep failing send us back to their references.
4. **Delivery.** Sizes and resolutions per channel, masters kept. How AI images are labelled on your site and on each marketplace is agreed in the pilot, per channel, before production, because the rules differ. See [EU AI Act Article 50](https://humblebob.com/journal/eu-ai-act-article-50-fashion-ecommerce).
5. **What we learn.** Notes that keep coming back become rules for the next batch. Your rules, models and shot list carry over to the next drop.

## Which image tools we use

Image models change often, and different models are better at different garments. What you are buying is the accepted image, not access to a particular generator. We choose the tools per production requirement and carry the work that turns their output into images you can publish.

If your team has already tried a self-serve tool, the references, examples and rules you collected are a good starting point for a pilot.

## What it costs

HUMBLEBOB prices each pilot per brand, with no standard rate card. Pilots are paid, and no ongoing contract is needed. To compare the options on equal terms, count the [cost per accepted image](https://humblebob.com/definitions/cost-per-accepted-image): generation, review time, corrections and set-up, set against [what a photoshoot costs](https://humblebob.com/journal/fashion-ecommerce-photoshoot-cost).

## Limits to know about

- **Fine and sheer materials, small lettering and complex prints** need more review, and sometimes a real close-up photo of the detail.
- **Views nobody photographed** would have to be invented, so we ask for them instead.
- **Generated people likely count as deep fakes** under the EU AI Act, which means visible disclosure, and some marketplaces do not accept images that need a visible label: Zalando's [image guidelines](https://partner.zalando.com/university/article/zalando-image-guidelines), updated 31 August 2026, say so. Labelling is agreed in the pilot, per channel, before production.

## Start with a pilot

A pilot runs on your real products, with the pass criteria agreed in advance. Our [pilot brief and vendor checklist](https://humblebob.com/pilot-brief) lists what to settle, whoever you choose. When you are ready, [book a pilot](https://humblebob.com/contact).
